Our Values

ENTITY was originally inspired by a love and wonder of the natural world in 2000 whilst our founder, Adam, was at university studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Nature Tourism.

Adam studied the essence of Outdoor Education and learned that time in, and interaction with nature can set our minds, bodies, and spirits free from the chains of society. Adam also believed in the urgent need for humanity to connect with mother nature in symbiosis and halt the degradation of our environment.

What we value...

LoveIt is an honour that our participants and families allow us into their homes to provide support for the people they love the most.

At ENTITY Eco Therapy, our staff are caring people by nature who love helping and supporting others. At ENTITY we support our staff to provide a quality of caring support that reflects that love.

We want to share a deep love of nature with our participants and community partners that can heal us, help us grow and be a source of inspiration.

HopeWhere there is love there is hope.
From the classic movie Shawshank Redemption, in a letter to his friend Red, Andy Defresne said,
“Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” Andy was encouraging Red to go a step further in his life to a life of freedom with his friend in Zihuatanejo, Mexico

This was something that Red thought impossible but with the hope, faith and consistent encouragement from his friend, the impossible became a reality.

At ENTITY Eco Therapy we deeply believe in the power of hope delivered by our consistent, caring and encouraging Support Workers over the long term. Hope is important for health, happiness, and success. It helps to reduce stress and the risk of many leading causes of death. Hope helps people get through tough times and improves their future by thinking, feeling, and imagining the life they want. It motivates and inspires people to take action.

CommunicationSuccinct in every communication we have with our clients, staff and partners so that all parties understand what is required of them to achieve a mutually agreed upon outcome

GratitudeHaving a genuine attitude of gratitude that we get to do our work with amazing people and appreciating the world every day and instilling a sense of wonder of life is so important.

BalanceThis is that ever-elusive equilibrium, where everything is working in symmetry—neither too much nor too little of anything.

BeliefWe believe in the people that we support, our staff, our organization and that we can achieve what we really want to, and accept people as they are now.

Inspiration – To inspire our clients, staff, and partners to take action on what moves their spirits and makes them come alive.

Freedom – Creating true freedom by being who we want to be as people, at  ENTITY, we value personal freedom of expression and encourage our staff, clients, and partners to share their liberating ideas and dreams and give them encouragement to pursue them.
