Jorge Goded

I am Jorge, 33 years old, living in Fryerstown, where I look after a beautiful garden, bees and enjoy the calm of walking in the bush.

I spent my childhood in the fields with my grandparents, learning about growing food, raising animals and foraging in the forest. That gave me the understanding of the benefits of being exposed to nature: mental and physical health, as well as social, emotional and spiritual well-being. This passion has a strong impact in my career as a social worker working in horticultural therapy.

I am passionate about health and nutrition, also enjoy everything related with cooking, food preserving or fermenting. I enjoy daily meditation, mountain biking, camping or swimming. For several years, I have run workshops, I can teach how to make natural products, as soaps, balms or looking after bees.
