Troy Coppock
Hello, my name is Troy, I was born in Bendigo in 1978 and completed year 12 in 1996 . After school I began an apprenticeship as a carpenter with a commercial company, being a third generation carpenter in the family. After completing this trade I moved on and worked for Jimmy Possum Furniture where I enjoyed making furniture. I have worked in the mines and travelled Australia. I have also travelled for 18 months over to England and spent time in Switzerland. I enjoyed my time over seas were I formed many friendships and lifetime friends.
This year I decided I wanted to use my experience to meet and help people achieve their goals so I became a support worker. I am currently working at Kalianna School OSCH Program and have loved every moment watching the kids grow and become more confident. I also have volunteered with the Bendigo Suns Football and helped out with all abilities cricket. I volunteer at the Benetas Residential Aged Care for 4 hours a week. This has helped me gain more knowledge and understanding of the field. I am 46, married with a 3 and a half year old boy. I enjoy all sports and swim almost everyday. I also enjoy the outdoors and love camping and fishing
I have a current NDIS worker screening check, first aid certificate, working with children check and comprehensive car insurance.
