Jem Gay
I am a somatic practitioner, parent, and group facilitator living on Djarra Country. I support clients through a gentle, body-based approach that honours each person’s unique pace, sensitivity, and lived experience.
With over six years’ experience facilitating trauma-informed, body-based programs and nature-based practices, I’ve supported individuals to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate a greater sense of connection and belonging. Much of this work has involved leading community-based wellbeing programs for youth and families, often alongside people from diverse and complex backgrounds. My approach is grounded in deep respect for each person’s dignity, agency, and capacity.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the garden, at the creek with my child, hiking in alpine regions, playing boardgames with friends, facilitating a community yoga class, or slowing down to listen to the seasons unfold.
I endeavour to provide a calm, grounded presence and would be honoured to walk alongside you or someone you support.
I hold a current NDIS worker screening check, First Aid certificate, Working with Children check and I have full comprehensive car insurance.
